Dr. Polland (she/her) is a clinician and educator in integrative and naturopathic medicine with a focus on the intersection of digestive health, the microbiome, hormones, and the immune system. With a background in cellular biology, chemistry and education, she helps patients and practitioners decode complex symptoms and disease with evidenced-based integrative medicine.

In private practice, she specializes in Hashimoto’s, SIBO, menopause, and many other autoimmune, digestive, and hormonal imbalances. She is also an independent medical consultant for Biomesight, a company offering 16s rRNA microbiome sequencing to the public. She serves on the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP) Research Committee, facilitating microbiome research, and oversees publication of integrative gastroenterology research as a member of the editorial board of the Naturopathic Digest, the official journal of the GastronANP.
